I have always loved steam engines and the Settle to Carlisle railway.
I love to see a steam engine working an incline. The Settle to Carlisle is the perfect setting to see a locomotive doing just that.
I have had the pleasure to have held a lineside pass for The Great Central Railway at Loughborough. This gave me the opportunity to get close and personal with some of the preserved engines in traffic.
I have attended special photography events at Barrow Hill Roundhouse. Two images from the event appear in this gallery.
